WERRINGTON CENTRE TOILETS

(11/03/06) No doubt, many Werrington residents have noticed the toilets in the Werrington Centre are still closed:

We can only presume that there is a breakdown in communication between the company who own the centre and the city council?

Local ward councillor, Darren Fower tells us he will be raising the matter with the relevant Tory cabinet member.

“This issue has gone on for too long!” argued Darren.

“The people I speak to are not very impressed. Under this Tory Council, taxpayers cannot spend a penny in Werrington, but the Tories can spend hundreds of thousands of pounds of taxpayers money on fancy toilets down town!”

We’ll let you know how Darren gets on!
