PETERBOROUGH LIB DEMS CONDEMN MARCH BY ‘RACIST’ EDL

GUESS WHAT? PETERBOROUGH IS IN THE HEADLINES AGAIN…..

(08/10/10) This time it is a report in the Guardian, that shows Peterborough City Council, who are aspiring to be the Environmental Capital of the UK, came top for issuing fixed penalty notices for littering - it issued 3,110 in 2008/09. In contrast, only one notice was issued in Derbyshire and in nearby Cambridge it was 50. So either we have too much rubbish or not enough bins?: [ more ]
