HUNDREDS OF LOCAL PEOPLE JOIN ANTI BNP CAMPAIGN - Peterborough Liberal Democrats -

(23/01/10) BNP NOT WELCOME IN PETERBOROUGH the Facebook campaign launched by the Cllr Darren Fower leader of the Liberal Democrat group on Peterborough City Council, already has hundreds of local people signed up to it and with the general election just round the corner, Darren says he is hoping to break the thousand mark:

In the last few weeks alone nearly a hundred new members from around Peterborough have joined the BNP NOT WELCOME IN PETERBOROUGH Facebook group.

Commenting Cllr Darren Fower said:

“This group offers people the chance to show their opposition to the BNP. Local residents of Peterborough (UK) can join and be involved in discussion and news relating to possible BNP activity in or near to the city.

“The group will act as a united front against this atrocious racist organisation.”
