BUS STOP IN PLACE FOR WERRINGTON VILLAGERS - Peterborough Liberal Democrats -

(08/02/10) The South Werrington and North Gunthorpe FOCUS Team, led by Cllr Darren Fower and on the back of previous community pressure, the City Councils Transport Monitoring Officer has confirmed that a bus shelter has now been installed outside the Werrington Community Centre:

Liberal Democrat ward councillor Darren Fower told us:

“Its great to see the installation and work to raise the kerb completed. We have been working hard, meeting lots of people and running a petition and it just goes to show that hard work can pay off.

“Equally important to note is that this now means that passengers who previously experienced problems during their journeys for a variety of reason, should now have a more comfortable experience when going about on the buses!”
