Secure a future for our libraries

Peterborough City Council is currently conducting a consultation into the future of the City's libraries and the Lib Dem team want to do all they can to make our local libraries have a secure future for the benefit of residents of Stanground, Fletton and Woodston.

We don't want to risk the consultation coming back with a reduction in our availability of libraries in our local area, so we are calling on the Council leader to guarantee the safety of our local libraries In Stanground and Woodston. We have already lost the Fletton library to housing development a number of years ago and do not wish to see the same fate for our remaining libraries.

Your local Lib Dem team are working with residents who are concerned about the prospects of closure for one or more of these libraries, to send the message to the Conservative cabinet to keep their hands off our libraries.
