Banner-waving protesters were incensed with the council still having elected member Cllr A Coles carrying out his duties, as demonstrated when they disrupted a council meeting with loud protests earlier this evening, Councillors arrived at Peterborough City Council to attend the Full Council meeting and were met by protesters at the back of the Town Hall.  Their banners, abuse and chants of “shame on you” were demanding that Cllr A Coles quit. Funbase Imminent Closure

Funbase Gunthorpe Family Centre  is a service placement for day care services, which supports 147 children whilst parents are at work locally and outside the borough, Funbase as been given a extension till the 18th Aug to enable parents to find a suitable placement for their children. The Local Authority PCC has looked into other options; Gunthorpe School have been unable to assist due to having no capacity while Norwood school is looking at a long term solution for provisions for an “out of school club”. SCHOOL PARKING UPDATE.  Have you seen the work I have been doing with the local primary schools? If you have that’s FANTASTIC! City Wide we have an ongoing issue with Parking during school times. We have limited parking available for those parents/carers who are unable to walk their children to school. #RunawayHorses : Update

St George’s Community Hydrotherapy Pool

St Georges Community Hydrotherapy Pool  Back in December I was lucky enough to be asked to visit St George’s Community Hydrotherapy Pool by the lovely Karen Oldale. I of course graciously accepted this invitation. Upon my visit, I invited a fellow Liberal Democrat to accompany me. Although I had family members that had made use of the pool through their careers; I hadn’t visited myself before. When we arrived we were very warmly welcomed by the whole team and were provided with Lovely Blue Shoe Covers (Ha Ha).
