Cash Strapped Peterborough City Council Assets SOLD

The cash-strapped council, which is currently tackling a £28 million deficit, agreed the sale of both assets through an auction on Tuesday. #Walton bus shelter news ………….

In response to a recent article in the Walton FOCUS Team newsletter about people wanting a bus sheter in Corfe avenue, Cllr Asif Shaheed and Cllr Nick Sandford, have now received an email from someone near the proposed location who is very opposed to the idea, on the grounds that it might attract young people to hang around and cause trouble. Nick has been told there will be a public consultation on the issue later this year before any decision is made.
