The Proposed Submission Peterborough Local Plan 2024-2043 is available for public consultation between 9am on 2 October until 11:59pm on 12 November 2026. This is the final opportunity to make representations (comments) on the Local Plan before it is submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination.

Please note that this consultation stage differs from earlier stages of plan preparation. Representations should focus on whether the Plan is legally compliant and sound. Before making a representation, we strongly recommend that you read the Guidance Note for Making Representations, which explains how to submit comments and how representations will be considered and the Statement of Representations Procedure.

Once the consultation period has ended, all representations received will be submitted to the Secretary of State alongside the Local Plan and will be considered by an independent Planning Inspector as part of the examination process.
