Deputy Mayor of Peterborough, Cllr Andrew Bond, and Deputy Mayoress, Cllr Jade Seager, were delighted to attend the Huntingdon Branch of the Royal Society of Saint George's Summer Reception, held in the stunning surroundings of Buckden Towers.

The reception brought together civic leaders, including mayors and deputy mayors from across the region, providing a wonderful opportunity to strengthen relationships, share experiences and celebrate the important role that civic representatives play in supporting their communities.

Set against the backdrop of the historic Buckden Towers and its beautiful gardens, guests enjoyed an evening of conversation and fellowship while recognising the shared commitment to public service that unites civic leaders across Cambridgeshire and beyond.

Deputy Mayoress Cllr Jade Seager said:

"It was a real pleasure to attend the Royal Society of Saint George's Summer Reception alongside the Deputy Mayor. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many mayors, deputy mayors and civic representatives from across the region. These occasions provide a valuable opportunity to build connections, exchange ideas and celebrate the work taking place in our communities. Buckden Towers was a beautiful setting for such a special evening, and we are grateful to the organisers for their warm hospitality."

The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress thanked the Huntingdon Branch of the Royal Society of Saint George for the invitation and for hosting such a memorable evening in one of Cambridgeshire's most historic and picturesque locations.
