European Festival Showcases the Best of Peterborough’s Diverse Communities

The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Andrew Bond, and Deputy Mayoress, Cllr Jade Seager, were delighted to attend the European Festival and join in the celebrations with our wonderfully diverse community.

It was fantastic to see so many people coming together to celebrate the cultures, traditions and friendships that make Peterborough such a vibrant city. From the incredible performances and delicious food to the warm welcome from everyone involved, the festival truly showcased the very best of our community.

Thank you to the organisers, volunteers and performers for all the hard work that made the event such a success. It was a privilege to speak during the celebrations and to meet so many residents enjoying this fantastic occasion.

Events like these remind us that our diversity is one of Peterborough's greatest strengths, and we look forward to supporting many more community celebrations throughout the year.
